Default Pillar gauges

Anyone know where I can find pics or merch info on pillar gauges for a B6 A4 1.8T?

B6 A-pillar airbags only go down about 3/4 of the way. If you push the pod all the way down in to the corner, you won't be in the way of it at all. If you like the kind that put th gauges like halfway up the pillar so everyone next to you on the road can "see when my vtec kicks in, yo", then you will have a guage in the head if your bags go off.

This is a bad pic before install was complete. Looks much better now but I havn't had need to take pics.

Front corner is more of a dash extension than a pillar pod. I don't like pods halfway up the pillar. Or multiple gauges on a pillar, especially when doing nothing, like a clock (saw that), or a boost gauge on a N/A car (same car), or a volt gauge (same car).
My thought process is that I wanted something I can see heads up. I didn't want to have to turn, or look down. I think it is logisticaly stupid to put a gauge in a HVAC vent like the AWE (would Audi do that?), so that was out. I thought it too much to put it on my steering console like a big old tach on a muscle car. I don't want it down where my ashtray sits. This was the perfect spot. Can't be seen from outside. I can see it without looking away from the road. Flows in to dash.
My first option was an LED readout in the rear view mirror, but I didn't think I had the skills to pull that one off. The one I saw was awesome though and that's my first choice.
I'd be interested to know what lumps any pillar pod in to "rice" category, though. My dad had them in his Mopars long before any Japanese car started making them not cool. To each his own, I guess, but I love where mine sits.

Fahquad, you said "I don't want it down where my ashtray sits. This was the perfect spot." The ashtray was the perfect spot or am i missing something?

I dont reccomend A pillar guages for obvious safety reasons.

But if you must get one, find one that is already intergrated into the pillar cover. I have seen a few on some B5 S4's. It looks awesome. Almost like its OEM .
