Hey, how come you can't use an a pillar pod with side curtain airbags, but spp a pillar pods for $250 says you can? Whats the difference between a generic pod and this very expensive one that I cannot recreate myself ie fabric, etc?

its all about how safe you would feel with a piece of plastic and gauges flying at you if your airbags were to go off

they are just covering their *** by saying you cant

and the factory fabric is very hard to find a match for

I wouldn't recommend it, since if you get into a wreck, you might find yourself with a permanently installed boost gauge where your face once was...[&:]

It depends where the pillar pod ends, if it ends before the point where the airbag comes out you might be alright using it.

What makes SPP pods ok to use with airbags and other pillar pods not? What's so special about them besides their price? This is the pod
