its my second day driving my car, and i find out that its leaking oil, i think its coming from the transmission...... im ready to just sell the car for what i bought it for and get a honda or something.

you could have more major problems than leaking oil. It could be something as simple as the oil drain plug not being tight...the guys at jiffy lube do that alot. But take it easy, atleast ur wheels arent falling off or a piston didnt shoot through the hood.

 

i guess im just mad, how do you check all that stuff, cuz i stalled it when i wasnt paying attention, maybe that made it loose. at least im still under warranty.

 

just find the drain plug and see if its loose, i mean it might not be it. But my dad goes to jiffy lube for his old lincoln town car that he uses for long drives for his business (cause the thing is a boat...with a 5.0 V8 lol) and they tend to screw something up everytime so he goes back slaps em in the face and they fix it. If the plug isnt the problem then take it to a german car/audi place and get that shizz checked out. For now, just put a piece of cardboard underneath the leak.

How much oil are you seeing on the ground? And where is it dropping relative to the car?
Could be something simple, leaking oil filer seal, leaking oil plug...
but it could also be something expensive like camshaft seal or something.

Get it checked out and then you'll know at least.

 

there is no audi dealership near me, the next one is like 35 mins away
