Please help!! 01 a4 white smoke out of exhaust
#13
White smoke + low power is a clear sign of fuel mixing with coolant or oil. Since your car is giving low power, the piston rings might have cracked and are not generating enough compression. It could also be possible due to broken head gasket. The first thing you should check is the gasket and give a compression test. I hope this helps.

I have kinda solved the problem. I cleaned the MAF and changed the O2 sensor. After doing that it stopped smoking. But I still will bring it and get it checked out just in case. Thanks for all your help!!

Help!
I have an A6 2003, Noticed the coolant symbol come up on the computer today...Being that it was a holiday I took the car into Jiffy Lube ( I know not the best place)...I told them about the coolant symbol and they said they would check it out while they did the oil change...When I left the car was fine...I got in the car a few hours later to run an errand and white smoke began to come out of the exhaust pipes...Huge clouds...I turned the car off and called the Lube but they were closed...I used Google to troubleshoot and another forum advised that I drive the car around and see if it burned off...It stopped smoking for about 2 minutes but started back up again...I also feel a slight shaking sensation when I turn the car on...I don't know if it's related to the issue or not...I would appreciate any feedback...Thanks...

Sounds like you blew your head gasket, according to the low coolant level. The only other logical problem is a bad turbo. Too much of a coincidence though. If you have a low coolant level warning, your engine probably got too hot, causing the head gasket to fail.
