please help can't boost

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
I recently bought a 2000 A4 1.8t 5 speed manuel. I love this car. About 2 weeks ago the CEL light comes on. Brought it to the audi specialist they said it is an O2 sensor code. they look at the vehicle, performed a major sevice, replaced all vacum hoses and a couple of other hoses starting to tear that they said might be the problem.($900.00 bill)
The next day Ipick up the car and 10 miles inI findi can't boost over 5 psi, 10 more miles the CEL comes back on. Bring it back to the shop and they tell me still has the same O2 sensor code but it could be the diverter valve. Iorder an APR r1 dv and a K&N air filter and have them installed.($200 bill)
Next dayI pick up the car, 10 miles in the same exact thing in the same order.NoBoostthen 10 more mile the CEL comes back on. Bring it back to the shop they say maybe the wastegate or the tubo. My car sits at the shop now for over a week, they have checked the wastegate, the turbo,they change the boost control sensor, and still no go.
Now they think it is the APR r1 dv i bought sothey replace it with a stock DV.They now say the car will boost over 5 psi but as soon as it goes over 5 the car bogs and stutters. now they tell me it might be the spark plugs or the coils. i just had a mojor sevice done there so it can't be the spark plugs or coils.Now theythinkits the computer.
I am completely at a loss and I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does any one know if this car has limp or safe mode??? the car is a 5sp manuel and i have gotten mixed feedback(from friends) on wheather or not this is the car is in limp mode. other then the CEL and not being able to boost over 5 the car drives perfectly normal.
P.S. the car has a GIAC chip, k&n air filter, exhaust, andHAD an APR r1 DV in it.

Are you telling me they pulled an O2 sensor code and did all those repairs and didn't replace the DAMN O2 sensor!!!!???? Thats retarded when ever you have an O2 fault 90% of the time the O2 is malfunctiong and needs to be replaced. Report the shop that did the repairs and try to get your money back. You can get an O2 sensor from ECS tuning for around $120
unhook battery and leave it for 20-30 minutes then reconnect. do the TBA and see what happens. asked them the exact code it is throwing and post it here. most guys on here know way more than the stealer with all of their computers and everything.
I have to agree with all that was said above, report them and get your money back. They did everything in there power to take advantage of you and have not once tried to fix the problem. THey need to be held accountable for their actions.
Solution:
Replace the primary o2 sensor (you can get one at any parts store, the one you have to connect yourself is ~$80 and you can do it yourself easy). Unplug the battery for 10-15mins and you should be golden.

The best place to take it to if you don't mind spending the money is to drive out to Davis and get it serviced at 2bennet, they do just about everything and i know all the guys there, good people.
