I am looking in to Sirius radio. I went to Best Buy today and asked if the could hard wire a Sportster4 and mount it so it would look good. I want to be able to use the Sportster with my receiver in my house as well. They guy at Best Buy said he is not sure he could install until the pulled out my stock Bose system,(I have an '03 A4 3.0) and see if it can be done. He said I should do the portable unit with the MP3 player(over a hundred buck more)and use the cassette adpater because that will sound the best. Does anybody know will be the cleanest looking and best sounding set up without getting rid of the existing Bose system?
I am not very technically savy and just want system that will sound great and be easy for my wife and I to use. I prefer to not have a lot of loose wires hanging out near and around the stereo and dash board. Has anyone used Best Buy to install Sirius?
