Default Podi - Omori gauge issue

Due to internal issues at Omori Meter Japan which has resulted in non production of the order Podi has prepaid for, Podi has announced that it will be processing refunds to everyone who has placed a preorder for the new multicolor Omori gauge packages.

Podi wishes to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we are currently under negotiations with other gauge manufacturers to fill the void that has been created.

The test fitting of the B5 pod has been completed and the results were unsatisfactory. A new mold will need to be made to address the fitiment issues, which are in the fractions of a millimeter, but we will not release a product that is not to our standards.

Please check back to our website at www.podi.ca for updates as we will be changing the site to provide customers with the latest information.

Ahh finally an update on the B5 pods, I think i'm going to get a VDO guage for now, then mount it in the podi pod when it's released. the pod accepts 52mm guages, correct?

The B5 pod accepts 52mm gauges but the VDO gauge will need to be modified in order to work as the brass inlet on the back it too long.

What company would you recommend getting a guage from as a temporary until your pod is released?

Go with Glowshift. They are great and not expensive ($40 I think). I have one and love it! And the red matches the red on the Audi gauges perfectly.

I'm just wondering if it'd be too deep to fit into their pods though.

Get one of the new custom dialled Stewart Warner gauges we are having made. Drop a red LED to light it up and it'll look like factory. I should have them by the end of this month.

Here is a pic of the new dial:
