Not better flowing than a gt2871r...

do you have the map for this turbo? I had a version of whats on the evo on my dsm and the thing with minor fuel and tunning is good for 300 whp if you know what your doing.

hey great kill... Are you sure it was def a real evo tho? Those things mid 4s to 60, are 2.0t with a better flowing turbo. Downright amazing if you beat him, nice work.
u may have missed arifs thread, hes got a 300+ hp turbo kit on there hehe

I havent missed anything. Evos are extremely fast. It doesnt matter if your making 300hp. Evo platform is much better, lighter and better gearing.

The elims are fast no doubt.

Evos are 287 or something to the crank.. which is like 250 to the wheels...

They have decently sized turbos.. but unless its tuned its not that fast...

I drove around in a 450WHP 350z the other day... talk about fast...

287hp is more around 235awhp to 245awhp depending on dyno. Evos run a 4.6 stock to 60, thats fast. My stage 3 setup and a evo were neck and neck with me on 104oct.

I believe it might be, their turbos are capable of like 450hp, whereas the gt is only able to hit 400hp. they are pretty close to the same size too, I believe.

oops... I did a .88 (12 %) instead of the .78 (22%) Drivetrain loss.. yea around 230WHP.

Evos get mid to high 4sec 0-60 with low-mid 13sec 1/4 miles.

The new evos weigh in about 3200LBS.. the same as a B5 A4 1.8T Quattro.

A Stage 3 (GT28R) A4 would be comparable to a Stock Evo.

A Stage 3+ (GT28RS) should be able to take a stock evo no problem.

W/ the 2871R Elim it should dominate the EVO... If the Uni claimed 280WHP is right.. it should OWN an evo.. but even at 250WHP it shouldnt be hard w/ a decent driver.

I hope the 2871R's are pushing 280WHP. If they are.. thats my next investment. thats about 360BHP.... hmm power

Evos use a turbo similiar to a gt28rs but it is more aggressive. They can run 11s on the stock turbo.

I did not know that evo was that heavy. You mean Evo 8 or 9 ?

I am going to dyno on saturday, you'll learn very soon what elim. makes.

FYI: http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/fe...402scc_lancer/

Thats for the 04 EVO. Just for reference.

5.3 0-60

13.4 1/4 Mile.

Yea they are kinda heavy, but thats what happends w/ AWD 4 door sedans.
