If i were to get a G2 on my 2.8, is there any tuning you can do to it and/or the engine to increase the power output. I know if i got a G2 i'd be happy for a long time, but just wondering if it has any potential past what you get from slappin it on.

 

Well GIAC software comes with the kit to begin with. No never heard of anyone offering different programs.

 

You COULD run standalone I'm sure, but you'd have to handle all that stuff yourself. That's the huge downside to the G2, only 300hp for $5K whereas you could blow right by that with a 1.8T with the same amount of cash. Although, the super, once running, will be basically tune-free or so I've heard.

 

intake and exhaust, possibly nitro.

that's about it.


It's about Tune free. meaning you install it and have to dick with it as little as possible.

now compare that to a big turbo and all of those bits and pieces.

 

You could do lots of stuff to make ur ride faster, main ones are exhaust and intake. Then electric fan kit, loose ur cat or put highflows in. Add some light weight wheels too.

 

yea i kno that stuff, i was just wondering if there was anything you could do to the G2 itself...but i guess its pretty much u get what you buy.

 

under drive pully on the g2. 2.8 inch or so..

but even then you'll end up around 310ish at the max
