I've had my A4 about a week now.. and im already fallen prey to the electrical gremlins.. good thing is the dealer i bought it from has been paying to get all the small things fixed since i bought it.. they will have to fix this as well once i can figure out whats going on..


when i apply my brake.. my passenger parking light comes on? and my passenger side tail light does not light at all..the bulb isnt blown because i checked.. and made sure the bulb was in properly..

anyone else experienced this?


brake activates parking light?


my front windshield had a small leak in it when i got the car.. it rained the next day.. and some water came inside the left wall on the drivers side.. where the electronics and what not are located.. im thinking something may have shorted or a bad ground or something?..


any advice on what/ where to check

Check the drivers side bulb too. That can cause the problem your talking about. It probably needs a bulb or one of the electrical housings for the bulbs. They can short out too.
