there was someone a few years back that put the 380bhp 4.2 V8 in a B5 S4..

why did they do this?

because they are stupid!

only engine swap i would do with an audi would be a 2.2l I5 turbo motor. or a 3.2l VR6-T swap.. anything else and you are wasteing your time and money

actually, now that the VR6 swap is a reality now, i wouldn't even mess with the I5 motor.. it did used to be my dream though

this is what im talking about, there just ain't no replacement for displacement

Thereare rumors online that audi isusing the 2.5 inline 5 turbo in the new MKII TT's next year as a RS type line. Should be a hell of a ride.

oh ok, i thought you had it done already. i was going to say that you are fast and very sneaky. but i get it. good luck.. i plan on having a VR6t in my car by this time next year. 600Awhp on 20psi should be very fun!

but i don't think my axles will think so [8D]

Thanks

I dont think the axles will take to many launches if any. But 400whp is enough for me, i say that now . But i might sneak in some nitrous before i go BT for *****'n'giggles. Since the engine can take it, why not?
