Previous gen. A4: plastic door bottoms??
I hope this isn't off topic, but I've had this question for a while.
It seems to me that the previous generation Audi A4s (not the B7. B6, I think?) come in two varieties: those with plastic bottoms all-around (doors, front and back) and those that are bare (metal).
Are there indeed two kinds? What is the purpose of the plastic? I assume it's to prevent scratches and stuff, but this makes sense on the AllRoad only, IMO.

audi didnt paint the lowers of the car until 2004 and the second pic is the ULTRA sport package its kinda rare now
they ahve a different bodykit and stuff
