Problem. The car wants to shut down.
When the morning is cold but not too cold(~50F) the car doesnt wanna start up from the 1st time. When I turn the key to ignition it seems to be working fine but when i pushed back the key to leave it in the way it is to drive the car is beginning to shake and sounds like its going to shut down. So I shut down the car manually and restart it. After that the car is working in normal way. Did anyone had this problem or know where to fix it? Thanks for any info.
P.S. Its automatic transmission.

I have a '97 A4 and I've had that happen to me as well. I'm not sure what the temperature at the time but I know i noticed it most over this past winter and I live in Cincinnati so it was definitely cold. I know what you're talking about tho, when the car starts it shakes and everything dips (RPM's go way down and it does seem like it is gunna die) but i just let it go and it usually perks back up and is fine. Another thing I realized is that it happened the most when I would turn it on and immediately put it into drive. So when I turned the car on from then on I would just wait a couple seconds before putting it in drive and it seemed to be fine. I don't know what's really happening, I never really took the time to look into it. It's warmer here now tho and i haven't felt it do it in a while so it's probably just the cold. As for a solution, I don't have one - just know yours isnt the only one.
Just changed the spark plugs and the problem is still there. But 3 of the spark plug wires have been stucked in there so tried to pull them out really hard and i can see some of them were burned. So I ordered the whole new set of the wires........will let you know what happens after that.
