problem with chip

i got an APR chip and when im driving it will shut off beacuse it thinks its over boosting or something. is this a normal problem... does it have to do with my car or the chip? help please!!

Mine does it all the time. If I hold full throttle for longer then 4 or 5 seconds it kicks me down to stock. Really sucks. Are you hearing a loud air sound when you floor it, like air rushing through a pipe??

If you checked your codes you will likely see a "17964 charge pressure control: negative deviation" code.
Often points to a boost leak.

If you have changed your N75 valve you might want to look into a different model.

ya i have a vag system now, and thats it.
its just annoyin to fix it all the time.

i dunno if i hear anything. i can feel it when i hit the gas u just feel it drop in the pedal

u think its a leak somewhere? i had the guy that installed it change the d.v. and it still would turn off the chip.

Used to happen to me all the time just as described and after i put my exhaust on it doesnt happen anymore.

yes there is a borla kit for you man check out techtonicstuning they sell one that fits just call and talk to them
