problems...PLEASE help
ok so after my accident this body shop who does all the work for a european car dealership in the area worked on my car. When i got it back i took it out for a long drive. I took it out on some empty roads and cut her loose. At the end of the drive when i got back on a main road heading back to my dorm the check engine light came on. Then the car stalled randomly at intersections when my foot was all the way in the clutch and sometimes at launches. Then the car started running hot and the air would cut in and out. That was friday night so i couldn't take it back to the shop until monday so it just sat in the parking lot on the weekend. Monday morning i took it back to the body shop and the air wouldn't cut out any more. They ran a diagnostic on the CEL and it said Rev Limiter had been reached and Lean fuel mixture. I told the guy at the shop that i took it out on some open roads and cut loose so he said it was just because of me running it so hard. I got the car back like 30 min after i got there and took it back. I went out to run some errands and i definitely didn't go crazy on any roads with bread and eggs in the trunk but the CEL came back on. Then on my way to pay one of my tickets i was on a hill and it stalled again. I was at a complete stop and it started acting weird and some dash lights kept flashing and it felf like it was gona stall so i started revving it but it stalled out. The lights would flash on all the times it stalled b4 but only for a second and then sometimes it didn't stall. This time they flashed for a good 7-8 seconds. Also some times when it was about to stall out at an intersection if i put it in neutral it wouldn't stall. Drove it around some more and no problems. A/C only cut out one time after taking it back and it was only for a couple seconds. So WTF is wrong with my car? Before the accident i topped my car out and raced it a few times and the CEL never came on and never had problems running hot. I thought sincei got a new radiator it would have even better cooling.
EDIT: o ya i got a 1998 A4 1.8TQM and heres a copy of the receipt for the front end work done to my car

Get it scanned for free at Atuozone and post the results here. It sounds like there are several problems contributing.
Some possible problems-
thermostat
coolant temp sensor
disconnected vacuum line
loose intake pipe
edit-
where was your car hit? From the looks of the repairs the front drivers side was hit. You may want to take a look at the intercooler. The end tanks are plastic and known to break.

Check fuel system pressure Page 24-33
- Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor Page 24-60
- Check intake system for leaks (false air) Page 24-68
Sounds to me like there are leaks in the system or MAF. Since they were working on the front end, I'd make sure that there are no vacuum leaks, broken hoses or loose connections that they missed. If the code continues, take it back to the body shop and have them recheck for connections
