Default PROBLEMS PROBLEMS!

Alright so i went to a local performance shop and i bought from them a performance intake.. You know, gotta have some sound till i get my PES in.hehe... 2 days later my check engine light came on... When they did my intake they had told me i needed to buy a breather and put it in the vac line so i did (after my check engine light came on) I went o auto zone and their tester wasnt linking at all. Wat could the problem be? The car is still running the same i feel no difference.

Have you run a VAG-COM diag. yet? If you don't already have one, i would highly recomend getting that program and cable to hook up to your ECU... It is a life saver and saves you from a bunch of headaches...

The CEL will extinguish after X amount of miles if it was a one time deal. Intake conditions, which usually relate to lean/rich conditions normally aren't an ongoing condition. They happen sporatically. The fault code(s) are still there though. Without Vagging the car there's no way to tell what the problem. You don't even know if it is related to the intake. I mean you may have not tightened the gas tank!

Yes that is true, the gas system is pressurized for environmental reasons. But I said it jokingly in that there is no way to tell what the CEL means.
