If your lights take a few seconds to focus when turned on they are HIDs

PX3 was the code in 2001.

Hmm, I'm pretty lazy... the option code is definately more my style :P Maybe I'll take a gander. I have to take my CD changer out sometime... I hate school/work.

I felt around behind my stock CD changer... will it have the same plug as a 2000ish audi without the changer -- thats prewired? (mine's a 2000, and came with the stock changer)... anyways, I figured I could take mine out, and plug it into a pre-wired car... but in feeling around behind it, I never felt anything that felt like a big plug. Will have to see once it's out I guess. I hope it has a regular plug, cause I need to plug it into my parents golf or 02 a4, to get my damned cd's out!
There is a round plug behind the changer once you remove the (5) screws from the mounting bracket from the car and the (4) screws mounting to the changer to the bracket. I believe the golf has the exact same plug in it. Last weekend I had to remove every screw from my changer to get my cd's out of it took like an hour but I got them out.

Sucks that both my parents cars already have a changer... so I'm gonna have to take theirs out, then plug mine in, then put theirs back... jeebus! There must be a way to get power to the changer... just put some power to one of those prongs in the changer plug... lol. does anybody smell burning?

Turn your lights on against a wall. If it takes a few seconds to focus it's HID.

If the case is I have reflectos, that would be false advertisement by Audi since it says on their website standard A4 comes with projector headlights. Whats the difference between the two? If I have reflector does that mean I cannot put xenon kit? What about xenon bulbs?

I'll try that tonight.

reflectors cannot use a xenon kit, as far as I'm aware.

mine are definately hids... dont know what I was thinking. they do take the time to focus, and more importantly, they are the same as my dads b6 with hids :P
