i blew that same hose panda, my car sounded like a bluebird bus off the line, boost blowing everywhere except where its was needed. I speak from experience DV+CAI=blow off noise.

I dont get any heat soak that I can feel from my intake. The EVO intake still uses that little scoop from the OEM airbox to funnel the outside air directly to the cone filter plus they install their heatshield next to the factory one so I have two heat shields. I can cut the wheel and get my car sideways in an intersection and that was NOT possible before my intake. Definately more power so Im not sure what all you guys are talking about. Not to mention the accleration from 70mph is much more noticeable people look at me in awe as I fly past them from a 70mph roll on the freeway. I can't wait to get my next mod

I have the EvoMS intake. Heat soak isn't an issue, you can hear the DV alot, even more when chipped. It sounds good. Better throttle response, and it gives you more power in higher RPM's, where the stock airbox gives you more power in lower RPM's. Plus, if you're real paranoid about the heat, some guy on audizine makes big custom heatshields.
