so yes im getting the dtec dont try to talk me out of it cause i already have it im going to get it installed and tuned soon, now i have been told on here i can pry get up to 17psi but i dont wanna push it to much i was thinking about 14 maybe, what do you all think the stock engine could handle

the stock engine can handle lots....its more a matter of if you are going to have enough fuel/tuning to handle the psi. there are people that have run 28 psi on a ko3 with super high octane and other mods....start off low and work your way up...hope the folks puttin in your dtec know their sh*t..for you engine and wallets sake.

yea there is no way im taking it to a shitty place, even if i have to wait a while to find a place to get a good tune. but what psi do you think i should start at?

I'd start with 14-15psi and see how she's running. With this setup i would invest in a air/fuel gauge just to be safe.

Have you found a tuning co. to work with that system? I imagine it will be a bit difficult to find since it's so rare for these car's. (kind of like the k03/k04 setup)
