Purchased Forge Splitter - Good Choice?

I don't know where you get these kinds of ideas, but that would work great.
I have logic on my side. You just use the tiny flathead and pry up the end and then either needle noises or a normal flatheadto pop it the rest of the way off. Takes no time at all. Only problem is if the end isnt easy to get to, it takes a little bit more time sice you have to work in the middle

How many clicks to tighten the valve? On previous posts everyone seems to be doing about ten. Is this a good amount with a chipped 1.8t.

That's how I got them off. Probably the best way to do it.

i have this tool from Crescent called a precision driver. its basically a screwdriver with an extendable spring neck to allow you to get to places a normal screwdriver cant and a selection of 30 small screwdriver and torx bit. i used it to swap a friend of mine's DV and it was cake to get those clamps off

you should be somewhere in the teens.

Ive got an APR stage 1 flash and it took me close to 20 clicks. Been using the splitter for 2 months now and no problems at all. Dont think you'll hear a woosh like a BOV though, cause its only noticable when I go from full throttle with the stero off.
