quality intake???
found this intake, first one ive seen that resembles a "cold air" intake. You think it would work out for a b5 A4 (meaning fit with a custom intercooler installed)? Seems resaonable to me but wanted to see what you guys thought

RE: quality intake???
isnt the carbonio like the stock air box except carbon fiber? I was looking to buy the evo ms intake because it sounds good with the DV. Does the carbonio still sound good and perform better or is it relativly the same both ways?

I don't know how that'd fit....?

haha, i was actualy thinks the exact same thing![&:]
get a KnN with either a ceramic or chrome intake pipe and then make your own CAI from your lower grills upto your KnN.
putting a CAI before your airfilter and a heat shieldwill actualy gain you more MPG. i defently have!!
i have gotten 15-20 more miles to a1/4 of a tank=80 miles 1/4 tank!
i have only recently put the heat shield in and WOW for a small piece of aluminum (truck mud flaps actauly, $25 from o'rileys) there is such a HUGE difference in engine repsonce and idle!!!!
KnN=60miles 1/4tank
lower CAI=70-75 miles 1/4tank
heatshield=80miles 1/4tank
