Just out of curiosity, anyone know if I disconnect the drive shaft for the back on my quattro, will it be faster? will it damage anything?

 

well it would still weigh the same as a quattro as opposed to a fronttrak, so it would be slower than a frontrak
i might be wrong but i'm pretty sure disconnecting the drive shaft wouldn't be the best idea in the world

 

the quattro system weights 300 lbs....so if he disconnected his drive shaft it would decrease powertrain loss. but idk if doing that would be a wise move.

 

Thats not wise to do, you need rwd if your going to go 2wd. I am in a phase where i hate this pos awd.

 

Why are you hating the awd? No fun in the snow or what?

 

actually I love the AWD but I needed to make it quicker and faster, I have the chip and filter and thats about it,what else could I do to make it faster,im on a low budget now though because I have an s10 on bags im working on too for an upcoming show

 

jukeit, In the snow is the like the only time awd is fun.

reneriarik- Only way to make your car faster is to bolt on a bigger turbo, which is not a low budget thing.

 

if u want FWD buy a honda , if you were to do that make is a RWD drifter << driving that takes skill

 

anything other than an upgraded turbo? I just got the stage 1 clutch too but what other little things can I get to improve my performance, if I upgrade my turbo will I be able to smoke an sti or just a wrx

 

With a ko4 i was "smoking" wrxs. I am doubting i will have any probs with a sti now.
