I just purchased a 2008 A4 2.0 quattro. The spec sheet on the window says quattro and the glove compartment says quattro, but the trunk badge on the exterior of the car only says 2.0. When did Audi stop putting quattro on the exterior of the car?

they stopped doing it on the B8's. i dont know why tho...

 

I have an 08 2.0t thatI purchased 3 months ago and my trunk badge has the quattro logo on it. Maybe they forgot put yours on!

 

all the pics on the internet dont have a quattro badge. guess they could have used fwd models for pictures, but i doubt it. its probly just another quirk. like the whole red t crap. does it have a quattro badge on the front grill?

 

Look at it like this: maybe your Quattro is that much less likely to ever be stolen, if thieves are being choosey...

 

maybe every B8 is quattro and they stopped selling FWD cars

 

the 08s are still the B7s
in ur interior on ur trim do u have a quattro badge in there on the passenger side

after going through those pics in the link i just posted. the 3.2 has a quattro badge on the back, but not the 2.0T. maybe, thats it

 

if u go to the official audi web page www.audiusa.com
they still list the b7 as an 2008
the b8 will probly be a 2008.5 or a 2009 model
