Default Question About Diverter, I called APR

I talked to Ecodetuning www.ecodetuning.com, and ask which diverter valve is good for B7 2.OT,
they told me this one, click me

I did search on this forum, and Audi use Diverter valve, not Blow Off Valve,
but Ecodeturning said 2.OT originally used DV, but BOV is a better fit for it.

What do you guys think?
Will that product work in that link for my B7 2.OT?

i called ecode and they told me the same thing, i called apr and he told me to go with the stock one

so my recomendation is go with your stock one, the main reason he said this is that the stock has a rubber gasket that moves aftermarket has a metal one that moves, he said wait till your stock craps out then think about getting another stock one unless you are running upwards of 500hp

upwards of 500hp, rofl, @ that amount of power i would assume you would (maybe?) be running standalone w/ bov

just upgrade to the Audi TT's diverter, they are meant for more hp, theyll stand up to bigger power, definetely not 500 hp though.

w/o opening up a can o' worms ...

that DV vents atmospherically. you don't want to do that. Stay w/ a recirculating DV.

the new 2.0T motor is completely different in the aspects of a DV than the 1.8t motor from the b5 and b6. i think this has been covered before but you cannot just replace the dv, i think there are aftermarket add-ons/ a peice you can replace when you get the car chipped.

So far, the only option for the B7 is the DVSFit and the C version
