That's the best news I've heard all day.

So just order an H7 and pop a new one in? By the way, how could you tell from those pics that they are H7's?

(And how do you post images in message boards? What's the html code?)

Intensity of the light, HID would have a much more clearer light and at that angle the headlight would look like a lighthouse if it was HID! I guess you could be wrong since it's a pic, but i would def bet 1000dls in standard h7 :P

DIY, just pop out the caps in the back, release the spring clip and remove bulb. Replace and install. Easy and will take u 5-10 min. You should have enough space for that (i had), if not you'll have to remove headlight housing.

BTW no need to order anything. any around the block part store should have them: just look for headlight bulb h7 halogen with a price tag of about 15$

well for one i dotn think any HID sas the shitty stock yellow color.

and yes just go buy it and replace the bulb yourself, or go to the dealer if its close by. 20$, 2 min work..

for the images just press the IMAGE button and insert link between the code.

You guys are awesome on this board... I really appreciate all of the help you all have given me. I've never really been a fan of message boards because most are filled with really nasty people (like my Redskins fan board), but you all have been really great.

A million thanks, really...

and I still can't get the stupid image thing to work.

No. At least i dont think so. Look on the inside at the ballast where the bulb plugs into. It should say Halogen or HID/xeon. If you are completely clueless just go to the dealer and ask someone to step outside and take a look to verify what type it is. Or if you can post pics that would save you a trip.

if he has h7/halogens he wont have a ballast...

you could have just checked for a ballast ( a square box that the bulb wires plug into)

Also, the bulbs look much different.

He could have just thought you had a car w/ xenons in it .. im sure some parts stores charge 200$ for a single xenon.

either way, it seems you have h7/halogen... if you buy silverstarts or something of that matter you might as well get a 2 pack and replace them both
