If my DV went out which I am supposing it did since I hear the fluttering sound when I let off the gas, can that me lose a lot of power? Right now my car is ridiculously slow. I can hear the turbo spool quietly but it doesnt feel like its goin anywhere and I cant hear my DV go psshhhhhh anymore. Any ideas guys? Im taking it to Audi this monday to get the vac lines replaced and to EVOMS to have them check the DV.

 

you got your old stock dv?

try putting that back on and see what happens

 

if your dv is bad when you are on the gas and build boost the dv will not be able to hold it and just bleed back into the intake. Yes there would be a loss of power. You should just take it off and atleast inspect it

 

would this loss of boost show up on a boost guage i assume? hook one up and see whats goin on...

 

No I had Evoms scrap the old one. With my flash and everything I'd just kill it. Like I said Im taking it back to EVOMS if its broken they better fix it or replace it for free. $600 for a BILLET DV and it breaks with just a flash. I could see if I have a BT and was pushing massive ammounts of boost but just a flash. JEEZ

also check for boost leaks. I had some that I didnt notice or just didnt come about until a little after I got my flash. I had a huge loss of power
