So you say that when you drained the oil it almost filled a container that holds 6 quarts. So there was 6 quarts in the engine and you say over filled by 4 quarts. You really think our cars are supposed to run on 2 quarts?

lol, hell no I know the car isn't supposed to run on 2 quarts. I know it's supposed to run on a little more then 4. I'm saying, I drained out 4 quarts of oil from the engine. By the time I got to that number, the dipstick read where it was supposed to read.

well, just updating every one.
My car is getting a brand spakin new engine and turbo. 30% off warrenty price from Audi. I'm still going after them to get reimbursed for the total because they are still technically at fault.

And now that Audi is fixing my car, the dealership who caused all this is going to be paying the towing expenses. Since the excessive oil caused a bearing in the turbo to sieze I'm going to get them to pay for that. That part I don't blame on Audi.

Any way, I'll be rolling around in my 02 Audi A4 1.8T with a brand new engine this time next week. Haha, I can't wait to break in this engine so I can start playing with it. [8D]

This shouldn't be an issue. I imagine I imagine they will cover i since you are only 5,000 over the drive-train warranty. I assumed they had a 100,000 mile warranty on drive-train but I just checked it out and its only 50k. This is B.S. because my 2000 1.8T passat had a 100k d.train warranty. The engine on that car "blew" at 65,000 and damaged many major parts. It took them a month to fix it. I'm not sure exactly what all went but they did tell me that it would have been about an $8,000 job if I had to pay.

I would think they'll pay for it though.

Ya, they're doing every thing they can to avoid it. But fact is there are so many things that I have that says THEY should be the ones paying for it, that's why I need an attorney and every thing. I don't have the same kind of power as an attorney. I'm not really to concerned wheather or not Audi will be reimbursing me.
