Default A question of etiquette

Pardon my ignorance but I had a guy in a TT roadster wave to me yesterday. I'm used to waves from sports cars and motorcycles to my similar vehicles but have never considered that Audi drivers may engage in the same practice. Did I unintentionally snub this dude by not catching on or did he perhaps mistake me for someone he thought he knew?

He must have thought you were cute.

I get the wave from fellow 300zx'ers all the time, never have gotten a wave from other audi folks.

I did geta thumbs up one time from a guy driving a VW passat.

Had it happen to me once - but it was a kid that has a pearl white A4 exactly like mine so we both were lookin and waving seemed like the only thing to do.

I usually drive front of them, block their way and get out of the car hug and kiss them.

I ask them and make sure if they need anything and I wait until they turn the corner

j/k

it happens to me all the time.

Audi/VW and porsche guys like that which is a great costom I think.

I like the idea of getting out and hug them ( so much attention there ) traffic is a bad thing but we are all there perhaps a little music and laughter might be appropriate and make fun not war

Haha yeah, us Audi/VW guys often flag each other down and go out for coffee and krispy kremes.

Seriously though, lots of waves! I usually keep it to the nicest examples or modified ones... stockers often had no idea why I was waving -- so I stopped.
