I have a A4 2.0T.This is my 2nd car and I have this problem with both. Whenever the weather turns cool/cold the car cranks harder and longer to start. I got mix feed backs from friends to why this happens. Some tells me it the battery, some said it's engine oil. I really want to know why this happens and any way to prevent it from happening. This happens mostly after the car sits for more than a day. Please help!!!!

 

I think it needs a richer mixture when cold.

 

Uh, how much longer does it crank for? If it's negligible I say forget about it...

 

Summer compare to winter, it'll take 2-3 sec longer to start the car.
