Default Questions about 98 A4 2.8

Hey guys, Im thinkkin to get an A4 with about 98' 70 k on it tiptronic.

1st of is A4 a somewhat reliable car?, necause I read some problems with timing belt and rotrs, I consider those minor problems, because I can fix that myself, but are there any dark ones that I sohuld consider.

and 2-nd about tiptronic, can i Rev up in N and then swtich it to 1st in tiptronic?

and the last Question is about the chip that many peoples get on tehir A-4 wher can I get one and how does it imprve the performance.

Hey welcome to the board. Whether the A4 is a reliable car depends on the previous owner and his/her maintainance habits. Overall, Audi's are not as reliable as say a honda or toyota. They do however offer a much better driver experience. You should NEVER rev an auto/tip in N and switch gears. Giac makes a chip that can be bought from http://www.awe-tuning.com. They typically increase performance by advancing the timing and replotting the fuel maps.

well cold air intakes don't get you better fuel mileage on audi's. They come from the factory with very efficient intakes. As far as sound just about any of them would increase the sound, just make sure you get a good heat shield, or you'll be decreasing performance.
