Hello Ive been Sneekin around here for a couple of months...

Ive searched around and its alot of stuff to look at and have a couple questions regarding some things I want to do to the car...

1. I want to lower it.. Not DUMP it just want to lower it, I know that Coil overs are the best thing, but Is their any good springs out their that lowers your car decent, but your ride isnt like a tank? How low are stock S4 Springs?

2. I have a 2.8 liter, and would like to know about some mods I could do...
I want to chip it.. how much power will I gain from that? Air intake .... Not shure which one is best, I work on Volkswagens and I know what to do about engines, Definately im going with the Remus Oval tipped Exhuast. With a combo of a Good Exhuast, a Chip, and Intake, How much Horsepower will I get?

3. How heavy are the s4 rims and the Rs4 rims?

2.8 FAQpage. The S4 suspension isn't that great to begin with, go aftermarket. That combo will add about another 30hp, maybe.

 

30hp? Thats kinda high?
I would guess 20?

Has anybody heard of Porting your Intake manifold???

I know that a Bmw can gain 25hp just by the intake manifold being ported..[8D]

 

havent herd much of it. if you have the 30v then supercharge that thing. if you have hte 12v im sorry

 

i dunno on these cars but i was always under the impression coilovers are junk for a DD unless you're ripping on a flat road aroudn a track springs provide a much better ride.
someone tell me different please if you could i have coilovers in my prelude and you feel every crack in teh road!
