Default Questions before i put in my HFC and Borla

Hi guy's. well i just ordered my High Flow Cat and my borla cat-back kit and this is going to be my first full exhaust job. Is there a special tool i will need to get my O2 sensor's out? or can i just use a Regular open end wrench? and r they sensitive, easy to break or anything like that. Thanks.

With the airbox out, you can easily use an open ended wrench to get at the primary 02 sensor. Before that though, make sure you disconnect the wiring harness's from the 02 sensors by the coolant resevoir. Take the primary 02 sensor out and leave the rear one in (it can come out when the cat comes out). The bolts that attatch the cat/hfc to the down pipe is a major PITA, but doable. Just use a lot of PB blaster. You cannot remove the whole exhaust with the cat still attached to it. It will make it easier to get the cat out if you take the exhaust off first (down pipe back). That will aloow the cat/dp to flex more so you can get at the cat/dp bolts more easily.
