i spent 20 minutes on the fone with Andy @ APR today, and he said there is NO test pipe file for their kits for a b6 a4 1.8t,

INSANE HATTER, is your test pipe worth the $168 bucks (creative autoworks group buy) or should i just forget it and go with the APR chip only? it seems like a good deal and definitely clear things up back there?

 

i got the ATP one.. i think its OK.. i really want the ER one.. the 3" that tapers to 2.5" .... its only 189$ bucks and i think it would be much better...

a test pipe/HFC will be MUCH better than the stock cat

 

i ordered the creative autoworks group buy for 168 shipped with new bolts and gaskets... seemed like a good deal and i just stopped by autozone and got some non foulers so i cant wait to get this bad boy on and hear how it sounds!

APR told me it should throw a CEL but who knows with them, i spent 20 minutes on the fone with one guy who denied the Test pipe file existed then another guy calles this morning and said they do have it...

im putting the non foulers in and the heck with it!

 

yea , it WILL throw a code if you dont do the non-fouler mod....

have fun on the install.. its kind of a bitch

 

no fouler mod WILL work man

 

On some cars it may work, it didn't work on mine. I still throw codes every now and then...
