I have an audi a4 1999 2.8 quattro and i am looking for a mod to give me like 20-50 hp gain. Does anyone know of anything that would do that other than a super or turbo charger?

 

negative, You can buy a chip to raise the HP something like 10-15, an exhaust may help with another 10 if you are lucky. The 2.8 30 valve just isn't that tunable (except the S.C.)

http://www.giacusa.com makes the chip, but you have to find a distributor. It's really not that great of a value for the price. They have a listing of retailers on there website.

Yeah untile you have to get a new engine, Of course I can't say anything, I used to spray.

 

Chip + Exhaust...heck..while your at the bank, might as well get the supercharger.

The chip is like $300 and exhaust will run ya $6-800 + installation.
So we're talkin like $1500 for about 20 pony's.

you can bore out the intake manifold you can get a CAI you can get a different Throttle body you can get new exhaust manifolds camshafts short shifter
