it sounds like its right inside the wheel, or within the first few inches of the steering column. i think its just where the two connect, mabye a bad ball berring or something.

my steering wheel does that too, but it only seems to do it when its hot out

my steering wheel also does this, but only at low speeds. I'm positive it isn't my control arms, because the noise is definitely coming from the steering wheel/column. sounds almost like leather on rubber or something like that. I've just learned to put up with it.

It is sometimes the steering itself. Unlock the tilt and telescopic steering, tilt the wheel up and down and push it in and out a few times and then put it back where you want it. See if that fixes it.

yeah ill try that. mine only does it at low speeds too, but at any temp. so its deff. something rubbing or something like that. the car turns fine and everything, it just squeeks when im driving slow. its not really a big deal ive also learned to put up with it, i just wanna make sure this isnt something thats gunna get worse, or effect the performance of the car.
