does the springs and shocks from a 01 s4 fit on a 97 a4?

well i thought you would be 1.8t. and possible fwd.. but it should work out pretty well actually.. reason being that your car is very much like an S4, weight wise anyways. so the springs should look and perform well..

but a fwd 1.8t would look a bit off with s4 springs. cause it's almost 300lbs difference in the front and rear so it would sit high. if that makes sense to ya

Yeah it'll be fine. A couple guys on here have tried to put S4 springs/shocks on a 1.8t and the front end was higher than stock, and the rear was lowered.

I dont think the S4 rear springs would even fit on the fwd A4.

yeh you should be good to go, i ordered some b5 s4 coilovers for my car i have a 96 2.8Q. as long as you are a B5 2.8Q you are fine with ride height and it all matching up
