Hey guys...
sorry for the hurry...i just wanted to know of the name of the plastic undercover that covers under the engine. My 1999 AUDI 2.8 Quattro has a loose one and i cant put it back on..AUDI says i need a new one...think I can find one at a junkyard...I dont know the exact name of the part...u guys know the name the part they take off everytime you go for an oil change...

please reply as soon as possibel since i am online right now...

ahh I havn't had mine on the car for over a year.

 

do you really need the splash shield?

 

depends. it sorta acts as a skid plate and if you bottom out on some asphalt it will scratch up the shield instead of important things like the oil pan. the bad part is it holds in engine heat.

 

ahhh shield schmield.

 

The hood holds in most of the heat.
