Actually at high speeds the belly pan reduces the heat in the engine by creating a pressure differential. At low speeds and idling it holds in more heat.

It's suppose to protect the underworkings in heavy snow also. I still say forget it. It's a pain when i'm changing the oil, plus i've lost like half the aircraft screws.

nope. its just on the sides where the black fender well thing is. i just screwed the plastic to the plastic

Haul out the duct tape, and key the banjo music.

ECS carries replacement screws. Look at the prices though and you'll know why they are called "screw".
