Quick race spring question
Hi guys...sorry, searching for this was a major PITA.
I've got the opportunity to buy Bilstein shocks and Neuspeed race springs. These are off a 1.8T, and I've got a 2.8 (both quattro). The Neuspeed rep I spoke to said the shocks would work, but the springs have different load ratings. Would the 1.8 race springs work with my 2.8? They're pretty low to begin with, so is throwing on the additional weight to the springs going to kill them?
All I really want is the Bilstiens on my stock sport springs, but I'm getting sandbagged with the packaged deal. Plus, the guy wants my stock suspension as part of the deal, so I couldn't just flip the springs at my leisure...they'd be the only thing I'd have to ride on.
Thanks!

The Neuspeed race springs I put on my 1.8t were exactly the same part as what they sell for the 2.8.
You'll be fine. Neuspeed doesn't make separate springs for the 2.8 and 1.8t... Friend of mine had the same springs on his 2.8 - still has em on there after 2 years.
