OK im getting my car together, and I was looking at some springs, and I dont know what ones to get. I'm going to start autocross and I want to know if H&R, or Neuspeed would be better. I want it to look nice, and I'm going to keep it on sport suspension with sport wheels. Thanks!

 

If you are already sport suspension, it wont do you too much good.

H&R coilovers would be the upgrade path. Or maybe bigger front and rear sway bars.

Well, I think (not 100% sure, as I have coilovers and never had race springs) that the sport suspension on the audi has stiffer shocks and stiffer springs. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

So, the stiffer springs might not be that much stiffer (although "race" would be for sure).

And, you cant adjust the drop at all with race springs, and they may not match up real well with your shocks. So, IMHO, the best way to go is coilovers, because they are adjusteable, and the shock and spring are matched up for each other and for your particular vehicle.

Just my opinion, I have never tried race springs, just coilovers. I would search and do a ton of research before going that route, where coilovers are pretty tried and true.
