Radar Detector Hardwire
I know there have been multiple posts, just figured I could add a single picture to help people out.
I did a bunch of searches and had a hard time finding where there was a 'switched' 12V power source for the car.
I wanted the V1 to turn on and off w/ the car.
I hardwired my Valentine 1, and there is a perfect spot in the center roof console where the sunroof, overhead light controls are.
Just pop it off (there are also 2 screws holding it in).
I used the clamp that came with the V1 and spliced it into the Red V1 power wire (directions for V1 don't tell you to do it this route).
The clamp then slides over a stock metal piece that isn't being used. Just look at the blue clamp in the pic, and where it's slid onto.
