where do you guys plug yours in at? my passport was fine in the porsche, because the lighter was right above the cd player, but in my 01 a4 its behind the shifter and my cord gets in the way.

 

i guess you will have to deal w/ it. because thats the only spot known to man.

 

you could always hard wire it some how

 

put it in front of your rear view mirror or right bellow it and run the wires in the lining on top of the windshield over to the a pillar down to the fuse box.

 

Hardwire to the fuse box, only way to fly...

 

You can actually hardwire it to the sunroof motor.. works great!

 

yea any positive and ground connection will work. i reccomend using an inline fuse too.

In Va. its not legal to use these things, however, i know a bunch of people who still do...Are they hard to detect by any cops, whats the likelyhood of a cop finding out your using one if you hide it or turn if off if your pulled over?
