Having trouble with the radiator fan on my 2002 A4 1.6 petrol. As soon as winter hits (or the temperature drops to freezing) the fan goes nuts, staying on even after I have turned off the engine. It stays on until my battery is completely dead!

I have resorted to pulling out the fuse, just to stop it. Any ideas what the problem could be?
