Default radiator leak, i think

on the way to work i noticeed a little steam coming from in between the hood and fenders i pull over, no fluid sprayed anywhere like i expected. just a little steam coming from in between the radiator and motor(2.8 12v),the only thing i noticed was the motor side of the radiator was a little wet only in a small spot.cant figure out where it is coming from. it never overheated and the coolant light never came so forced myself to get it home, when home i popped the hood to see i could where it was coming from but to no avail. that spot that the radiator was wet was dry as a whistle. any suggsetions on what to do next, u guys alwways come up with some good advise

I'd just monitor the coolant level as frequent as possible for a few weeks.

its definetly leaking steam if not coolant, very slowly cause isee a very small difference in coolant level. i was thinking of just driving it around some more and hope the leak becomes more evident, man i really dont need this right now i just got to paintball, amd money burns in my hand, well it already did

Could be a small crack that will eventually get bigger.. Has the engine ever overheated to your knowledge?

the coolant gauge would always go one or two notches over the middle when idling for a long time on a warmer day but never smoked or smelled or went over one or two notches over the middle

yeah it may not be a bad radiator, but in my experience, steam and a "wet spot" on the radiator signifies a cracked core....
