Default radio

anybody ever have "safe" come up on their radio?My radio does not work all it says is "SAFE"

Did you disconect the battery?
You need to enter the code ask @the dealer for your radio code

either way you need your radio code and if you dont have it you need to go to the dealer to get it

call the dealer, give them your vin and they'll most likely give u the code

you need to get the stereo pulled and get the ser # off the back too (I just had it done)

check your owner manual, mine had the serial number/code in the stereo booklet

thanks all, for the useful tips. Just hope the dealer doesnt charge a fortune. Do you all have your stock stereos, i have a pioneer stereo that i was going to put in, what do you all think. I am a little reluctant though. I already have had my Audi broken into. They stole my ipod and fm transmitter. Iknow I shouldnt have left in my car, but it for sure was not visible.

Im running a stocker but not cuz i wnat to just cuz id rather spend the money on go fast goodies, if it got broke in to id spend some cash on a high dollar alarm

stick with the stock deck, imo...your radio code should be in your manual (the radio manual), if it's not there, you might end up having to pay a fortune for the code..most dealerships charge ~80 bucks to 'retrieve' your code
