I recently replaced the battery in my 99 A4. The owners manual discusses the necessary steps to reactivate my radio after installing the new battery. The manuals says I should be seeing "SAFE" in the radio display when I turn it on which allows me to then enter the anti theft code. But in reality, I am seeing nothing in the display when I turn the radio on. I've tried pressing and holding various buttons in an attempt to bring up the code prompt to no avail. Any suggestions? I would certain appreciate anyones tips. Thanks.

 

i just got two subs on the stock deck and u need to hold them for awhile the two buttons rds and the one above it i belive is what the instructions told me u should press rds once then pres and hold rsd then press and hold the button above at the same time if this doesn't werk you might wanna get that checked if u get this far it asks for a code its a 4 digit code found in the same area in the intrustion manual bout ur radio
