Radio Security Codes?

Hey

Do all radios have the security codes?

I've disconnected my battery and my radio numerous times (i guess i'm about to jinx myself now) and I've never needed an access code when restarting.

newer cars are linked to the ECU and dash so only work in that car so no they all don't need codes, pre 2000 need the codes
