hey all you new york audi owners if your looking to do somethibg fun with your car i just got an emial from my dealer and their thinkn about taking part in a rally. she said its alot of fun and alot of audi's go. im really considering abiut goin its in weschester, ny its on april 29 at 7pm and its only a 2hr rally i beleive so nothing crazy. there will b prizes. it would b alot of fun i think i some ppl from the forum wanna come. anyway lemme kno wat u gyuys think even if your not from ny and youve done a rally befroe lemmme kno how it is!

I actually went to "marshal training" for the races this past weekend. Unfortunately I couldn't make the races because of work (wasn't scheduled to work but had to blah blah blah). My buddy went, took a boat load of pictures. I don't think he'll mind me posting the link.... I only made it like 3/4 of the way through the pictures. He has video, I'll try to get some posted at some point.

That rally is run mainly by Ivan Orseck, he lives down the rd from my roomates gf, and his gf's parents help Ivan run it, mostly the statistics and what not. Anyways it really is a good time and its growing fast!! I wont be at the next one but I'll see you guys at some of them over the summer.

I live on long isalnd, definetly wanna check it out. Sounds like a lot of fun. Is there differnt classes running or is it just full blown rally cars?

 

There are a few classes, my roomate and his gf's brother are going to be building a rally car soon to race, but i cant rememeber what racing liscnences are required, I'll ask when he gets back in

Yep, there are several areas set up for spectators on each stage. I know for the one last weekend they charged a whopping $5 or something.

great um im preety sure it wont b rally cars mah dealer said it would b audi's n shyt i dont kno ive never gone to one. but its 2 hours long not a race u have to stay at the speed limit though i doubt any1 will lol. um its april 29th in weschester at 7. i give u guys a link later toda im on my way out but i think itd b alot of fun. im goin and mah boy is goin with his r32. so i think its a great experience.
