Ran with a modified G35 today. Dont know exactly what was in it but it had an exhaust, nice wheels, and a carbon hood. First run from about a 30mph roll (me coming onto the highway and him already on it). I was slowly pulling on him and then I had to brake because of a car. So I followed until I could get another chance and we came to a stop light. I asked him if he wanted to run and he just said "is that a turbo" so I said "yes and nice g35". Light turned green and I jumped on him and slowly pulled through first gear on him, pulled through second on him until he was about even with my rear bumper and when I went into third he started to pull on me and just kept on pulling. Oh well.... I chalenged a 300hp car for my first race and think I did ok. 0-60 I had him but after that I just did not have enough power to keep pulling. The temp is about 97 out right now so that might of had something to do with it. The kid hit the rev limiter from second to third and then from 3rd to forth so he was pushing the s*&^ out of that car. I really thought I was going to get smoked so I dont even care that he got me after 60mph.

 

g35 has more power but feels like a boat

Yes he was racing. It was not an auto unless it was triptronic because i heard him hit the rev limiter. His revs started bouncing just as he got by me then he shifted and easily pulled away on me. I just had nothing left when I went into third. I am still learning how to drive the turbo cars, they are alot different to drive. But I do think that if I had the injectors and exhaust I would have kept up until at least 80mph.

if it had yellowish brembo brakes then you know it was a stick.

 

G's arent that quick, I killed one in the ML55, it was unbeliveable, had him at 120mph by a length. He had a custom exhaust too. I wouldnt be suprised if a lightly modded 1.8T can take a G out.
