Default rattling in front end

ok so ma car was rattling like a week ago. it did that everytime i went over a little bump. sumtimes it felt like my whole front end was gonna fall off over bigger bumps. so i took ma car to get an alignment check and the guys told me my alignment is very bad although ma lower control arms are bad which is why the rattling is occuring. so i bought a whole set of control arms, sway bar link and tie rods from ebay for the whole front end, changed them and went to get and alignment. well after the alignment, it starts rattling again but not as bad. wut in the world is the problem???? i checked ma brake pads, strut and coil springs and they are all good. pls help me

ma car is a 01 2.8q stick

there's also a shaking that matches my speed and clicking noise when i push on the brakes. would that be the calipers or pads maybe?

I'm glad there's a post like this because I'm having a similar problem with my car. It doesn't really rattle when going over bumps, but whenever I step on the brakes fairly hard (like when coming to a dead stop) I can hear a popping/cracking coming from the front end.

Check the fender liners, wheel spoilers, and the skid plate. Sometimes they can flap around in there and make noise. At least mine does sometimes!

Post if you find the cause...I'm sure lots of people would like to hear how you solved it.

maybe your belly pan is flapping around down there?if you have one that is....if you do, try driving without it...

good luck!

There is a metal piece that hold the pads in place. Its about as thick as a coat hanger and runs across the outside/top of the caliper.

If this is not in place or loose, you could be hearing your pads bounce around in the caliper.
